Uruguayan footballer Federico Valverde has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2029, the Spanish club announced.
The club did not state the financial details, but the Spanish media write that in this case, as well as in the recently extended contracts of Cavaminga, Vinicius Junior and Rodrigo, there is a buyout clause of one billion euros.
Valverde came to Real Madrid in 2016 as an 18-year-old from Peñarol.
The Uruguayan representative won the Champions League with Real Madrid, two World Club Championships, the European Super Cup, two Premier League titles, the King’s Cup and two Spanish Super Cups.
