Steve Ker: Jokic and Curry are the best in the history

The Denver Nuggets defeated Golden State in the Western Conference derby, and after the end of the match, the coach of the Warriors, Steve Kerr, spoke about Nikola Jokic and Steph Curry.

Jokic finished the match with 35 points, 13 rebounds and five assists, while he scored 23 points in the second game.

Both players impressed the experienced strategist who spoke highly of them at the press conference.

“You are talking about the two best basketball players in history, I don’t know where they are compared to the greatest in this sport, but I believe they are there somewhere. Both are very good players, unique, they are inspired by the games of older basketball players, but they have also built a unique style of their own, which is why it is nice to watch them and it is one of the most beautiful things in basketball that you have so many players who can dominate in different ways on the field,” Kerr said.

As he further states, maybe the mentioned duo is not athletically dominant, but they possess skills that the other players do not have.

“When it comes to athleticism, everyone talks about how high you can jump, how fast you can run, but these two have a specific athleticism that can’t be explained, it’s the coordination, the overview of the game, and all these characteristics make you a top player. For me, those two are the best players in the league,” concluded the coach of Golden State.
