Colombian international and Liverpool football player, Luis Diaz, renewed his knee injury while preparing for the second part of the season in Dubai.
The Liverpool forward will undergo surgery on Saturday. The Colombian has to go under surgery due to an injury to the lateral collateral ligament of the knee. Luis Diaz was injured in October, but he renewed the injury during the mini-preparation in Dubai, where Liverpool is preparing for the continuation of the season after the end of the World Cup.
As reported by the English media, the twenty-five-year-old Colombian is expected to be available again only in March 2023.
Diaz arrived in Liverpool in January this year, and his transfer from Porto cost 47 million euros.
This season, he played 12 games in all competitions, scored 4 goals and registered 3 assists.
