Liverpool is for sale

The owners of Liverpool Football Club, FSG (Fenway Sports Group), have decided to sell the club and are willing to listen to all offers.

FSG bought Liverpool back in 2010 for 343 million dollars. In the 12th year that they have been owners, the team from Enfield has recorded a lot of success.

The club won 8 trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions League, where they lost the final two more times. Much has come under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp, who recently signed a new contract with the club until 2026.

Be that as it may, it looks like FSG will no longer be the owner of the giant, at least that’s what the very reliable journalist of The Athletic David Ornstein reports.

“There were many rumors about the change of club management. We, on behalf of FSG, inform you that we are willing to sell the club, but only under conditions that benefit the club. We are sending an invitation to all interested parties to submit their offers. Until then, we will continue to be fully committed to the club’s continued success,’ the current owners of Liverpool said in a statement.
