IN HONOR OF MESSI: Argentines print new banknotes

On the wings of Lionel Messi, the Argentine football team won the title of world champion.

The Argentinians defeated France in the final, and the euphoria after winning the World Cup in Argentina is not abating.

New information from the South American country tells us that the Central Bank of Argentina is considering the “marketing” of a new banknote with the image of Lionel Messi.

Foreign media reports that it is a question of 1000 peso bills (about five euros) because the bill starts with the number “10” – the same number he wears on the representative jersey.

The back of the banknote would feature the complete football team that won the title in Qatar.

Also, it is added that there are proposals to create a limited edition banknote with the figures of the Paris Saint-Germain’s player as well as Maradona.
