After the World Cup in Qatar, the owner of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al Kelaifi, did not wait long and, according to the world media, reached a verbal agreement with Lionel Messi on a new contract.
There is no decision yet on the length of the contract and the amount of the salary, but this will also be agreed upon at the next meeting between club president Naser Al Kelaifi and first operative Luis Campos.
His current contract with the club from Paris is valid until the end of the 2022/23 season.
In the previous days, the media mentioned several possibilities when it comes to the future of Messi, in addition to staying in Paris, one option was a return to Barcelona, the other was a move to the MLS league to Beckham’s Inter.
