If the New Orleans Pelicans player, Zion Williamson, crosses the 130 kg limit in the upcoming period, he will be “lighter” by several million.
This is foreseen by the clause in the contract signed by the Pelicans’ leaders and the first star of this team.
Zion Williamson missed the entire last season due to various minor injuries, and his physical appearance was worrying, to say the least, and the Pelicans no longer have patience for his frivolity and unprofessionalism.
In 2019, Williamson was selected as the first pick in the draft and already then he was presented as the new LeBron James due to his very dominant constitution, but the separation from the court and the gym made many in his environment worried.
The clause states that Williamson can weigh a maximum of 130 kilograms (his height is 198 cm), but also that he must not have more than 10 percent body fat. For every “skipped” kilogram over the number 130, Williamson will have one million deducted from his salary!
Zion is 22 years old, and in 2021 he made his debut at the ALL-STAR weekend.
