American basketball player CJ McCallum could change the environment. His team Portland and the New Orleans Pelicans are in the final phase of negotiations about the trade of an experienced defender.
In the opposite direction, Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Didi Louzada, and the future peaks of the first and second rounds to which the Pelicans are entitled could go the way of Portland.
In addition to McCallum, Larry Nancy Jr. and Tony Snell are expected to arrive in New Orleans.
CJ McCallum played 36 games for the Blazers this season and averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game in just over 35 minutes.
The Pelicans tried to hire the experienced Kyle Lowry last summer, but since they did not succeed, they reached McCallum. Now it will officially be the end of his work in Portland, which he created with Lillard.
