In the next period, the Unics basketball players will be stronger on the wing positions for the Latvian national team player Janis Timma. He comes as a free agent since he did not fight for a new contract with Khimki.
Timma agreed to cooperate with Unics for a month, and if both sides are satisfied, it is possible to extend the contract until the end of the season.
The Latvian basketball player spent two and a half seasons in Khimki, and during the last season, he played 16 matches in the Euroleague. He averaged 7.1 points with 2.8 rebounds.
Unics is currently at the top of the VTB Championship with six wins and one defeat, while in the Euroleague it ranks 11th with almost 4-5.
