Phoenix Suns basketball players in the first match of the playoffs at home celebrated against New Orleans with the result of 110:99.
Chris Paul was the most efficient at Suns with 30 points.
He also made 10 assists, eight rebounds and three steals.
He was followed by Devin Booker with 25 points and eight assists, while Deandre Ayton scored 21 points and nine rebounds.
Cameron Johnson scored 13 points and Mikal Bridges 11 points.
For the New Orleans team, the best was CJ McCollum with 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
He was followed by Brandon Ingram with 18 points, and Jonas Valanciunas also 18 points with 25 rebounds.
Larry Nance Jr. scored 14 points.
The guests entered the match quite badly, at the end of the first section they had a double-digit gap which by the middle of the third section had grown to a 23-point advantage for the opponent.
They tried to make up for that delay, but not to bring the match to an uncertain end.
The next match is not scheduled for the night between Tuesday and Wednesday in Phoenix.
