For years, LeBron James has been considered one of the greatest professionals in the world of sports, and the basketball player who turns 39 in December delighted the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers, Rob Pelinka, with his form.
According to Rob Pelinka, the basketball player who will play his 21st season in the NBA this year is preparing as if he were a rookie.
“It’s astonishing for a player who already has 20 years under his hood and is preparing for 21 as if he were a rookie. He was training at six in the morning. He’s probably been in our building as much as any player this summer. He was in the gym as much as any player. For any team that LeBron played for, he set the standards,” said Pelinka.
James spent about 35.5 minutes on the court last season, and during that time he averaged 29 points per match, along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Last season, in the finals of the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers were stopped by the champion team the Denver Nuggets.
The new NBA season will begin on October 24.
