Nikola Ivanovic, the first playmaker of the Montenegrin national team, is currently under question due to a problem with his Achilles tendon.
He has been undergoing therapy in Munich for several days, and as things stand, there is a possibility that the 28-year-old Ivanovic, who plays for Red Star, will have to take a long break and will not be on the court on September 1 when the Montenegrin national team plays a match in the capital of Georgia against Turkey.
As already planned, he will appear in Montenegro on Monday for the tests.
When it comes to foreigners in the national team, they counted on John Radebaugh, who shone in the matches against France, Portugal and the Netherlands.
However, he will be replaced by Kendrick Perry, whose arrival is expected on Monday, after he received an extended vacation due to his wedding.
Marko Todorovic’s participation is also questionable at the end of August and the beginning of September due to a severe sinus infection.
The player Djordjija Jovanovic did not respond to the call of coach Radovic, and the call was subsequently sent to Emir Hadzibegovic, who is seen as the only adequate replacement for Dino Radoncic.
