UEFA fined Fenerbahce for chanting Putin

UEFA – The European House of Football made a decision that Fenerbahce should be punished for chanting the Russian President Vladimir Putin by Fenerbahce fans.

The club will have to pay the guild in the amount of 50,000 euros and their stands will be partially closed in the next European match.

Let’s recall that in the Champions League qualification match against Dynamo Kyiv, Fener fans chanted the name of the President of Russia, thus responding to the Ukrainians’ supposedly provocative goal celebration on the field.

The Turkish club is now fighting for the Europa League because the previous ones were eliminated from the Champions League qualification.

In the third round, they were better than Slovacko in the first match with a score of 3:0.
