American playmaker Ja Morant extended his cooperation with the Memphis Grizzlies.
He signed a five-year contract worth 231 million dollars.
He will receive a guaranteed $193 million.
There is also a trade clause that brings him an additional 15% of the money if Memphis decides to send him to another team.
“Memphis is my home,” the playmaker briefly wrote on Twitter after signing the contract.
During the last season, he averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds.
Morant was named the Most Improved Player and a first-time All-Star.
