The director of the Bayern basketball club, Marko Pesic, extended his contract with the club from Bavaria until June 2025.
The son of Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic has been in this position since 2013.
During his tenure, he won three German championship titles, two Cups and one Super Cup, and the club became the owner of the Euroleague A license, of which he is a permanent participant.
This season, Bayern is the leader in the table of the German league, while in the Euroleague they are fighting for a place in the playoffs.
They are currently ninth with 11 wins and 12 losses.
Serbian basketball players Vladimir Lucic and Ognjen Jaramaz also play a big role in the success of the Bavarians.
