ASVEL coach Gianmarco Pozzecco spoke to the media after the victory in the 8th round of the Euroleague over the Alba team in Berlin.
The team from Villerban took all the spoils from Berlin, as they were better with a score of 68:74.
“It was a difficult match, Alba played well. I am very happy that we did not give up. I came here a month ago and I’ve only watched the team in the last four games since I’ve been here. I knew it was going to be very difficult for the players because they had some tough losses, especially these guys who really love to play basketball.” pointed out the charismatic Pozzecco, then added:
“It’s easy to whine on the field and get hysterical when you don’t do what you should, but today we did everything well in the last quarter, even though Nando De Colo had to leave due to injury. We played great defense and that’s the key because they only scored 13 points in the first and last quarters,” concluded Pozzecco.
