The Atlanta Hawks basketball players have officially secured a place in the playoffs with a 134:116 win on their home floor in the match against the Washington Wizards.
After more or less equality in the first half, after which Atlanta led with +7, the most efficient third quarter followed, in which the home team beat the opponent and took the lead with 106:90.
Until the end, Atlanta routinely kept the lead and did not allow the Wizards to get back into the match, so the final score was 134:116.
Trae Young recorded a double-double with 25 points and 16 assists. Collins added 23, and Murray 19, along with seven rebounds and two assists.
Gafford recorded a double-double in the Wizards’ loss with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Davis followed him with 20 points and seven rebounds, and Kendrick Nunn scored 15.
The Hawks are in eighth place in the East with a score of 41-39, while Washington is in 13th place with a score of 34-46.
