Valletta FC has appointed Alessandro Piscina as Head Coach of its Competitive Teams and Gen V Programme. Piscina, a UEFA A licence holder, brings top-level youth coaching experience from Italy, including roles at Pisa SC and AC Milan’s academy. He has also worked as a coach educator with the Italian Football Federation.
Piscina’s attacking style and focus on player development align with Valletta FC’s vision. He will lead the U21 team and support all competitive squads alongside Head Coach Thane Micallef and his team.
President Claudio Grech said the appointment shows the club’s strong commitment to youth development. Piscina said he is excited to help players grow both as footballers and as people.
