GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks keep up good form

GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks earned a strong 6-0 win over White Hart in the Challenge Cup run by the Malta Hockey Association. Alessandro Piscopo and Alessandro Amore each scored twice, while Gary Bonnici and Daniel Ellul also got on the scoresheet. The match was refereed by James Mizzi and Keith Calleja.

In the Hockey 7s, Qormi Daikin continued their good run, but had to work hard for a 5–4 victory against Floriana Young Stars. Julian Zahra led the way for Qormi with a hat-trick, and John Williams and Singh Sandhu added one goal each. Floriana stayed in the game thanks to doubles from Justin Farrugia, Krista, and Damien Falzon. The umpires were Oscar Toledano and Silvio Peralda.

In a tight Under-18 Championship match, Qormi Daikin beat GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks 6–5. Nicole Zammit was the standout player for Qormi, scoring four goals, with Giorgio Muscat adding two more. Żurrieq replied with four goals from Jayden Cutajar and one from Nicolai Runza. The match was officiated by Dario Cacopardo and Silvio Peralda.

In the Under-14 Championship, Floriana Young Stars won 3–2 against Marsaskala Heat. Matteo Vella Chetcuti scored twice for Floriana, and Gabriel Cordina added another. Marsaskala Heat closed the gap with goals from Braylon Gatt Gellel and Liam Carabott. The umpires were Alessandro Amore and Keith Calleja.
