GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks delivered a strong performance in the national hockey league, beating White Hart 13-0.
Żurrieq controlled the match from start to finish and gave White Hart very few chances. Christ Agius scored six goals, while Jayden Cutajar added a hat-trick. Alessandro Amore scored twice, and David Vella Dingli and Stefano Schembri also found the net.
The umpires for the match were Karl Chircop and Keith Calleja.
In the Under-18 league, Marsaskala Heat beat Qormi Daikin 3-2. The first half ended without any goals. Qormi went ahead in the third quarter, but Marsaskala stayed calm and came back to win the game.
Kane Zammit scored two goals for Marsaskala, with Alessandro Piscopo adding the third. Giorgio Muscat and Dion Fenech scored for Qormi. The umpires were Karl Chircop and Silvio Peralta.
