Provisional Malta women’s squad revealed ahead of Belarus matches

The Malta Women’s National Team, under Head Coach Manuela Tesse, has named a provisional squad ahead of two international friendly matches against Belarus. The fixtures are part of the team’s preparations for next year’s European Qualification campaign.

The friendlies will take place at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali, on Friday, 25 October 2025, kick-off 19:30, and Tuesday, 28 October 2025, kick-off 19:00. Both matches will be broadcast live on TVM Sport+.

These matches are a key step in Malta’s build-up to the 2026 European Qualification, where the national team will compete in League B following their promotion earlier this year. The draw for the qualification campaign is scheduled for November 2025, and the friendlies will allow the coaching staff to assess players and refine tactics ahead of the new competition cycle.

Head Coach Manuela Tesse has selected a squad that blends experience with youth, maintaining continuity from the group that secured promotion. The upcoming fixtures will provide an opportunity to strengthen team cohesion, evaluate player readiness, and build momentum ahead of the European campaign.
