Malta Women’s National Team head coach Manuela Tesse has named her squad ahead of the team’s upcoming UEFA Women’s European Qualifiers League B double header against Northern Ireland.
Malta are set to face Northern Ireland away on 14 April before welcoming them to the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali for the return fixture on 18 April, with both matches scheduled to kick off at 7pm CET.

The two encounters form part of Malta’s ongoing European qualifying campaign, with the team continuing to compete in League B following promotion through the UEFA Women’s Nations League.

Under Tesse, Malta will be aiming to produce disciplined and competitive displays across both matches as they continue to test themselves at this level.
The national side will also be looking to show signs of further progress after beginning their second campaign in League B with difficult assignments against Türkiye and Switzerland, the other teams in Group B2.
Northern Ireland are expected to provide another stern challenge, with Malta likely to depend on strong organisation, compact defending and efficiency in both phases of play.
The double header offers another important opportunity for Tesse’s side to continue building experience and momentum against high-level opposition.
