At the end of last week, the first round of the Table Football National Championships for the 2024/25 season was played.
In the Premier Championship, reigning champion Samuel Bartolo dominated, finishing the first round in first place with a seven-point advantage over his closest rivals. Bartolo is followed in the standings by Mark Gauci and Jurgen Balzan in second and third place respectively.
In the First Division Championship, Massimo Cremona had a strong performance, winning all the matches of the first round and securing the top spot. Cremona is followed in the standings by Mauro Camilleri and Spencer Conti in second and third place respectively. The upcoming event for Maltese athletes will be the “Major” in Paris, which will be played at the end of the week.
