The Malta Blackball Federation has brought to an end tour 3 of the Nations Cup 2025 qualifiers as five players won their respective category in the finals held at the Anici Band Club in Qormi.
Glenn Axiaq won a hard-fought men’s final after defeating Wayne Pace 10-9. Meanwhile, the under 23 final was won by Chaylon Castaldi who beat Liam Mifsud 9-6.
In the categories of the most experienced players in the Men’s 40+, Shawn Galea completely dominated the match against Joseph Tabone to win 10-1 while in the Masters over 50 final, Jason Mangion had a hard fought 10-9 win against Marco Bonello.
Finally, in the Juniors final, Denzel Falzon defeated Dielyn Edwards 9-6.
All the winners of these categories got a place in the Maltese national team that will compete in the Nations Cup 2025.
