Qormi Daikin made a great comeback to get a prestigious 2-2 draw against Šiauliai Ginstrektė-Akademija of Lithuania.
In this game from the Euro Hockey Challenge 2, the Yellow/Blacks were two goals down in the middle of the third quarter but they knew how to react in order to get a point from this match.
Povilias Sinkevicius gave the Lithuanians a double advantage but Qormi equalized thanks to the goals of Luke Bajada and Keith Bajada.
Trust Payments Floriana Young Stars had a 2-0 defeat against Furuset Landhockey Klubb of Norway. The latter scored a goal in the first two quarters and even though the Greens tried to react, the opposing defence was very concentrated.
Sebastian Skaugvoll and Alexander Johnsen scored the two goals for Furuset.
The Maltese teams will be in action today in the last group matches as Qormi Daikin play against Roslagens of Sweden (9.30am) while Trust Payments Floriana Young Stars face Soroksari Olcote of Hungary (2.30pm)
