The Organising Committee of the Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali has officially opened nominations for the 2024 edition as the year draws to a close. Sports Associations and Federations are invited to submit their nominees for Malta’s most prestigious sports awards.
Categories include:
- Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year
- Man and Woman Youth of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Official of the Year
- Team of the Year
- People’s Choice Award (to be decided via SMS voting at a later stage)
Associations and Federations are reminded that only one submission per category is permitted, and each nomination must include a brief synopsis of the nominee’s achievements during 2024. Late or non-compliant submissions will not be accepted.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, 8th January 2025, at noon. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, 1st March 2025, organized by the Malta Sports Journalists Association and supported by the Ministry for Education, Sports, Youth, Research, and Innovation.
