Maltese Olympic Committee meets new AIMS CEO

The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) hosted its first official meeting with Jean Claude Micallef, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport (AiMS).

Discussions focused on key issues impacting both the MOC and the Associations and Federations it recognises. Topics included enhancing athlete education on anti-doping, tackling match manipulation, and exploring innovative methods to engage a wider range of athletes beyond the elite level.

MOC Secretary-General Kevin Azzopardi proposed ways to improve collaboration among entities responsible for registering sports organisations.

The meeting was attended by MOC President Julian Pace Bonello, Dr Lucienne Attard, MOC Director, and Charlene Attard, MOC Sports Director. Jean Claude Micallef was joined by Sandro Micallef, Head of Communication and PR at AiMS.
