Futsal Malta is all set for a new and exciting season as the 15th edition of the Men’s Futsal Championships kicks off in October. Enemed returns once again as the main sponsor. As in previous years, the competition will include three main tournaments: the Championship, the Trophy, and the Super Cup.
Luxol St Andrews Futsal, who have won the title seven years in a row, will be looking to continue their impressive run. This season, they’ll face fresh competition from several teams, including three new ones: Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness, Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal, and Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA. These teams will join returning sides like Futsal Selection U17, Futsal Selection U19, GŻR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal, Marsaskala Futsal Legends, and University of Malta Futsal.
Matches will be played at the National Sports School in Pembroke every Wednesday and Friday evening, as well as Saturday afternoons. The Championship starts in October. The draws for the Enemed Futsal League, both men’s and women’s, will be held on Monday 22nd September at AX The Palace Hotel. On this day, clubs will find out their opening fixtures and the order of matches for the Main Round.
All games will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel, but fans are also encouraged to go and enjoy the atmosphere in person.
