The Maltese Cross Futsal Cup, organized by the Futsal Malta Association, will commence today, coinciding with the international break from the Enemed Futsal League, due to the Maltese national team’s participation in the main round of the European Futsal Championship.
This unique tournament will feature 12 teams, divided into two groups. Group A includes University of Malta Futsal, Marsaskala Legends Futsal, Swieqi United FC Futsal LEC07, Malta Matadors, LiverMalt, and Col Magic Futsal, while Group B comprises of Hamrun SC Futsal, AFC Super Futsal, St Andrew’s Futsal, Black Bulls Futsal, Gzira United SC Futsal, and Santa Margherita Futsal.
The top two teams from each group will move on to the semi-finals. All matches will take place at the National Sports School Pavilion in Pembroke and the De La Salle Pavilion in Cottonera.
