The club’s gymnasts produced an outstanding performance at the National Championships held on the 7th and 8th of February, delivering an exceptional medal haul and showcasing remarkable talent, determination and team spirit throughout the competition.

With only 14 gymnasts competing across seven categories, the team achieved an impressive total of 47 medals, made up of 20 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze, underlining the strength and quality within the club.
Among the standout performers in Prep P1 (2011–2013) was Aaliyah Mangion, who claimed gold on Uneven Bars and Floor, bronze on Beam and secured the All Around title following a superb all round display. In Prep P1 (2015), Leah Sammut delivered a dominant performance to win gold on Vault, Uneven Bars and Floor, silver on Beam and gold in the All Around. Mariah Farrugia Gregory also impressed in the same category, winning gold on Beam and silver in the All Around.

In P1 (2014), Gwen Soler Delia produced a strong and consistent showing to earn silver on Vault and Uneven Bars, bronze on Beam and gold in the All Around. Julia Bromidge secured gold on Vault, bronze on Uneven Bars and Beam and silver in the All Around. Mia Attard added to the medal tally with bronze on Vault and gold on Floor, while Harper Mae Bugeja claimed bronze medals on Vault and Floor.

Katrina Micallef excelled in the P1 (2018) category, winning gold on Vault and in the All Around, silver on Beam and Floor and bronze on Uneven Bars. In the P2 (2005 and older) category, Julia Attard Gauci won gold on Vault, silver on Beam and silver in the All Around, while Mariella Nwoko secured gold on Uneven Bars and silver on Floor.
Ciraya Demi Hili also delivered an excellent performance in P2 (2013–2014), winning gold on Uneven Bars and bronze in the All Around. In P2 (2015), Megan Debono was one of the top performers of the championships, winning gold on Vault, Uneven Bars and in the All Around, as well as silver on Floor. Ana Attard secured silver medals on Vault and Uneven Bars, bronze on Beam and silver in the All Around, while Giulia Di Prima claimed bronze on Vault, Uneven Bars and in the All Around.
There was also a special moment for the club’s Pre Prep 1 team, who took part in the National Championships for the very first time. All participants showed enthusiasm, courage and strong team spirit throughout the event, representing the club with pride. A special mention goes to Blake Theuma Dougall for an excellent performance on both Floor and Vault, highlighting the bright future ahead.
Club officials expressed immense pride in all gymnasts for their dedication and achievements, while also thanking the coaches, judges and supportive families whose continuous encouragement made these successes possible. The remarkable results achieved across the championships confirm the club’s growing strength and promise for the future.
