Pembroke Athleta Gymnastics excels in the UK with 48 medals

Pembroke Athleta Gymnastics is proud to celebrate the achievements of its athletes at an international competition hosted by Whitehall Gymnastics Club in Colchester, United Kingdom.

The event brought together 317 gymnasts from nine clubs, including eight from the UK and Pembroke Athleta Gymnastics representing Malta. Competing in five categories, the team of 23 young gymnasts gave excellent performances, winning a total of 48 medals and achieving 12 fourth-place finishes.

Club President Susan Azzopardi said the club was very proud of the gymnasts’ results, while Head Coach Claire Azzopardi praised their hard work, determination, and strong team spirit throughout the competition.

The team was supported by three dedicated coaches whose guidance and encouragement helped the gymnasts perform at their best. A special mention goes to Coach Shannah, who joined the team for the first time as both coach and judge, playing an important part in the club’s success.

Pembroke Athleta Gymnastics would like to thank all parents and supporters for their continued encouragement, as well as Whitehall Gymnastics Club for organising such a well-run and welcoming event.

This excellent result reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to quality, fair play, and the development of young gymnasts both in Malta and abroad. The support of parents, families, and guardians remains vital in achieving these successes.
