Swieqi United and Birżebbuġa St Peter's maintain consistency

Swieqi United Futsal and Birżebbuġa St Peter’s opened year 2024 in the best possible way when they achieved important victories in their respective matches from the Enemed Futsal League. Birżebbuġa St Peter’s won the direct encounter against Ta’ Xbiex Futsal after a positive score of 7-5. French player Julien Bolard was in great form for the Seasoutherners when he scored a hat-trick with Kieran Debono netting a brace.  Sebastian Obando and Sean Parnis completed the score for their team. Ta’ Xbiex stayed in the match as Stefi Cale, Jason Gauci, Christian Wismayer, George Frendo and Matthias Camilleri netted a goal each. Referees were Stefania Bonnici and Andrea Naudi. Swieqi United Futsal found little difficulty in defeating the Maltese U19 selection 9-2. Brayan Stiven Silva Rivera was inspirational for his teammates when he scored five goals with Justin Theuma helping himself with a personal double. Rodney Debono and Ryan Muscat added more goals for their team. Collin Sammut and Cody Baguley scored the goals of the Maltese under-19 team. Referees were Andrea Naudi and Luca Formosa.
