Emphatic performance by Zero Sei against Swieqi United

The Women’s Futsal League has reached its final stage, with the finalists now confirmed after two thrilling semi-final clashes.

In the opening semi-final, Zero Sei delivered an emphatic performance against Swieqi United Futsal LECO7, cruising to a 9-2 win in a game they controlled from the outset to secure their place in the final with ease.

The second semi-final proved far more competitive, as St George’s faced Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus. After overturning a first-leg deficit, St George’s forced the tie into extra time. However, with neither side able to find a winner, the match was ultimately decided by penalties. Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus held their nerve to progress with a 7-4 aggregate score (3-1 on penalties).

The league final will follow a best-of-three format:

  • Final 1: Tuesday 5 May 2026, 20:30 – De La Salle College
  • Final 2: Tuesday 12 May 2026, 20:30 – De La Salle College
  • Final 3 (if necessary): Tuesday 26 May 2026, 20:30 – De La Salle College

Zero Sei and Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus will face off for the title.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Trophy Final will see Zero Sei take on Swieqi United Futsal LECO7 on Tuesday 28 April 2026 at 20:30, also at De La Salle College.
