Legendary futsal player Ricardinho, after a large number of successes and trophies, decided to end his national team career and will no longer play for Portugal.
The Portuguese played 187 games for the national team and scored 141 goals, and he was chosen the best futsal player in the world six times.
- Today I am announcing the end of my national team career. It was an amazing and unforgettable journey. This is the most difficult decision in my career – said Ricardinho.
Ricardinho said goodbye to the national team in the best possible way at the age of 36, after winning the World Cup, the first in history. He signed a three-year contract with the French champions ACS last year, and in his career, he also played for Nagoya, Benfica, and CSKA Moscow.
