Luxol did not find it easy at all to beat Birżebbuġa Futsal 2-1. The champions were even losing 1-0 but they knew how to turn the result into their favour in order to secure their seventh win of the season. Sebastian David Jimenez put Birżebbuġa on top so that Marwan Telisi and Michael Borg rounded off the score for the Maltese champions. Referees were Andrea Naudi and Marco La Rosa. ŽRQ Bormla dominated their match against Sliema Futsal as they won 6-0. Experienced player Jovica Milijic was the protagonist for the Cospicua side when he scored four goals with Karl Luke Schembri and Karl Sciortino who combined the score for their team. Referees were Clint Cassar and Andrea Naudi. Swieqi obtained an 8-1 victory against Gzira United Santa Margerita. Gregory Busuttil scored a hat-trick for the Owls with Dylan Pace scoring a double. Brayan Stiven Rivera, Andrew Abela and Isaac Buhagiar put their names down among the scorers’ list. Nazzareno Abela scored the only goal for Gzira who are still looking for their first points during this season. Referees were Jude Amin Utulu and Danilo Francalanza. Ta’ Xbiex Futsal continued to disappoint during this season and suffered a 12-5 defeat this time against Marsaskala Futsal. Craig Pickard inspirational for the Southsiders when he scored four goals with Amir Ashtiyani who was the author of a hat-trick. Meanwhile George Aquilina scored twice while Owen Duca, Alessio Restuccia and Bertram Azzopardi adding more goals for his team. Ta Xbiex scored their goals through Kurt Bartolo, Glenn Bonello, Liam Caruana, Christian Wismayer and Dexter O’Brien. Referees were Clint Cassar and Stefan Bonnici. The Maltese under-19 team defeated the under-18 team 4-3. It was a very balanced game with the under 19s turning the score in their favour in the second half. Collin Sammut, Mason Agius, Shiraz Attard and Amin Louati scored the under 19 goals with the under 18 team finding the net from a double by Brave Azzopardi and another goal by Giorgio Comes. Referees were Marco La Rosa and Sillah Al Hasana.
