Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal climbed fifth in the Enemed Futsal League table after beating Sliema Futsal 9-0. The Seasouthsiders were determined to get the three points from this encounter and dominating the proceedings with the Blues finding it difficult to keep up with the pace of the opponents. Birżebbuġa had Julien Bollard who netted three goals with Denim Parnis, Sean Parnis, Dale Vella, Kieran Debono, Dylan Bonnici and Artem Mitielov also on the score sheet. In fact, the Maltese youngsters gave a good account of themselves as they always kept pace with their more-quoted opponents and never gave up even though they came out empty-handed from this confrontation. Jose Rodrigo da Silva scored twice for ŽRQ Bormla while Jovica Milijic, Karl Sciortino and Mohammed Elamari added more goals for their team. The Marsaskala side were determined to get the first three points of the season and dominated the match from start to finish. Pavlo Bekesha hit the target six times, Amir Ashtiyani scored four goals, Owen Duca three goals and Zack Cocker had a personal brace.
