Birkirkara remain without a win in the YoHealth Malta Premier after drawing 2-2 with Sliema Wanderers.
Despite going two goals down early on and being reduced to ten men in the 25th minute when Kurt Zammit was sent off, Birkirkara fought back well to rescue a point from the match.
Sliema took the lead in the 19th minute when Bah scored from close range after a corner. Just three minutes later, Sliema doubled their advantage through Bernardo, who followed up his own saved penalty to make it 2-0.
Birkirkara were reduced to ten men in the 25th minute when Zammit was shown a red card for a foul near the edge of the box.
Despite being a man down, Birkirkara pulled one back just before half-time thanks to a goal by Reid after a low cross from Macula.
In the 84th minute, Birkirkara equalised from the penalty spot. Lacunza converted after goalkeeper Al Tumi committed a foul in the box.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw, with both teams earning a point.
