UEFA – The European Football Union punished the Marseille club by closing one part of the stadium for the semi-final match of the League of Conferences against Feyenoord.
In addition, Marseille was fined 80,000 euros for using pyrotechnics and throwing various objects on the field, as well as 18,000 euros for blocking stairs.
These riots happened in the match against PAOK in the quarterfinals of the Conference League.
In addition to the French club, UEFA also fined PAOK 50,000 euros, because their fans caused damage to the stadium.
Also, UEFA has banned PAOK from selling tickets to its fans for guest appearances in Europe if similar incidents occur in the next two years.
Feyenoord and Marseille will play the first game of the semifinals on April 28 in Rotterdam, while the return match in France is on May 5.
