UEFA – The European Football Union has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Atletico Madrid.
They decided on this decision after an Atletico Madrid fan saluted the Nazi salute during the game, which certainly did not go unnoticed.
The Spanish club is also accused of “discriminatory behavior” because of the fans, who threw objects on the field during the visit of Manchester City (0:1).
According to UEFA’s disciplinary rules, clubs are responsible for the misconduct of fans in stadiums.
It is not known when the sentence will be imposed in this case.
