Chelsea booked their place in the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Copenhagen in the second leg, sealing a 3-1 aggregate victory while maintaining their perfect record in the competition.
Copenhagen, coming off a disappointing league draw that cost them the top spot in Denmark, started brightly as they tried to overturn their first-leg defeat. However, the first half saw little action, with Chelsea struggling to create chances. Their best moment came when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jadon Sancho linked up, but a dangerous cross was cut out. The first shot on target only arrived in the final moments of the half, as Viktor Claesson’s header was easily saved by Filip Jörgensen.
Chelsea introduced Cole Palmer after the break, hoping to add some attacking spark. As the game approached the hour mark, Dewsbury-Hall weaved his way past defenders and slotted a low shot inside the far post, scoring his third goal for Chelsea. The goal gave the Blues some comfort, though Palmer later sent a shot wide of the post.

With neither side pushing too hard, Chelsea comfortably saw out the game to secure their spot in the next round. While Copenhagen exit the competition and continue their struggles in the league, Chelsea’s fourth straight win in all competitions gives them momentum heading into the quarter-finals.
