Three second-half goals secured a 3-2 win for FC Barcelona against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League, extending their unbeaten record to three wins and two draws in head-to-head matches with the German side.
Barcelona dominated the first half, which ended goalless. They had a great chance to take the lead in the 15th minute when Lamine Yamal made an incredible outside-of-the-boot cross to set up Raphinha, but he shot wide. Dortmund rarely threatened, with the only notable attempt being a wayward shot from Marcel Sabitzer. The German side had goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to thank for keeping the score level, as he made two important saves—denying Yamal from the edge of the box and stopping a shot from Jules Koundé.
The second half began with both teams attacking in an exciting, end-to-end manner. Dortmund thought they had taken the lead early on when Jamie Gittens broke through the Barcelona defence and squared the ball for Serhou Guirassy to tap in, but the goal was ruled offside.

This decision proved costly for Dortmund as Barcelona quickly took the lead. Dani Olmo played a pass to Raphinha, who finished well to make it 1-0. Guirassy then had a chance to equalise for Dortmund in the 60th minute after Pau Cubarsi fouled him in the box. Guirassy converted the penalty, and Dortmund made three substitutions in response.
However, Barcelona regained the lead shortly after. Fermín López took a powerful shot from the edge of the box, which Kobel saved, but Ferran Torres was quick to pounce on the rebound and scored. Guirassy could have equalised immediately after kick-off but missed a header from close range. He made up for it moments later when Barcelona goalkeeper Iñaki Peña rushed out of his box, allowing Pascal Groß to assist Guirassy, who slid the ball home to make it 2-2.
Dortmund pushed forward looking for a winner but left themselves exposed at the back. Barcelona took advantage of this on a counter-attack when Yamal set up Torres, whose powerful shot sealed a crucial 3-2 win for Barcelona. The victory moved Barcelona into second place in the group, while Dortmund dropped to ninth, one point behind eighth-placed LOSC Lille.
