Thiago Silva is delighted with the new coach

Thiago Silva, Brazilian national team member and captain of the team from Stamford Bridge, in an interview with TNT Sport, had only words of praise for the new manager of Chelsea, Graham Potter.

Thiago Silva arrived in London from PSG before the 2 seasons and since then he has been irreplaceable in the last line of Chelsea, no matter which coach led the team.

“He is a very good and humble man. He does not have to be a perfect manager, it is enough that he knows how to organize well and lead the team with his humble and down-to-earth approach to us as players. His attitude is something we all like, and his modesty is incredible. Until now, he has never managed a club like Chelsea, which is very big and has many stars. He is not an intrusive person, he is quite calm, he always listens to what the players have to say, he is certainly not one of those coaches who likes to be in the foreground. For now, we have a great time with him, and it is certainly a pleasure for him to work with such a good group of players,’ said Thiago Silva.

Silva won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea, all in the 2020/21 season, and he also lost the 2 finals the previous season, in the FA and Carabao Cup, both times after penalties against Liverpool.

In the current season, he played 7 games and recorded 2 assists.
