Inter Milan will be without captain Lautaro Martínez for around 20 days due to injury.
The striker is expected to miss at least three matches, including games against Como and Cagliari, as well as a Coppa Italia semi-final.
His return date is still not certain, as the club will monitor how his muscle injury responds to treatment over the coming days.
His absence is a big blow for Inter, but midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu says other senior players must step up.
He said that while Martínez is important for his goals and leadership, the squad has other experienced players who can take responsibility.
Inter now rely on leaders such as Çalhanoğlu, Nicolò Barella, Marcus Thuram, Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries, and Francesco Acerbi.

Çalhanoğlu added that the team must stay focused and try to keep winning while their captain is out.
Inter are aiming to stay strong in both the league and cup competitions during this period
