Renato Sanches, the midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, has reportedly voiced his concerns to the club about his lack of playing time.
The Portugal international has had a troubled debut season in the French capital, struggling with injuries and only making 22 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice.
Despite his well-documented physical issues, Sanches expected a more prominent role under coach Christophe Galtier and football advisor Luis Campos, given their successful history together at Lille. However, Sanches has only started seven games and has yet to complete a full 90 minutes in a PSG jersey.
Despite being under contract for another four years, rumors suggest that PSG may listen to offers for the 25-year-old midfielder at the end of the season. Sanches arrived in Paris last summer as part of a significant midfield reshuffle, but PSG’s summer spending spree was considered underwhelming by many.
With PSG currently leading the Ligue 1 table by six points with eight games remaining, it remains to be seen whether he will feature more prominently in the final stretch of the season.
