Mosta and Birkirkara shared the spoils in a balanced 1-1 draw at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in Kordin.
Both sides already knew their fate before kick-off, with Birkirkara safe and playing their final match of the season, while Mosta now turn their full attention to a crucial relegation decider against Naxxar Lions.
Mosta coach Joseph Grech also used the match to give minutes to several young players, offering them valuable experience ahead of the final challenge of the campaign.
Birkirkara created the first opening in the 19th minute when Aleandro Garzia tried his luck from the edge of the area, but his effort finished high.
In the 28th minute, Macula went close for the Stripes, only to see his shot saved by Mosta’s young goalkeeper Jayden Farrugia.
Birkirkara went ahead in the 31st minute when Franklin Sasere struck from close range to beat Farrugia and put the Stripes in front.
Mosta tried to react and, in the 42nd minute, Russell Caruana made a promising run into the area but failed to make clean contact with the ball.
Two minutes later, Matthew Garcia Bolanos attempted another strike from the edge of the box, but his effort also went over.

The second half opened with substitute Jan Busuttil testing Farrugia for Birkirkara, but the Mosta goalkeeper produced a good save.
In the 62nd minute, another substitute, Senghor Diamanka, this time for Mosta, tried his luck, but Birkirkara goalkeeper Martinez was equal to the effort.
Four minutes later, Busuttil threatened again from outside the area, but his shot finished wide.
Mosta levelled in the 75th minute when substitute Luke Urpani unleashed a powerful strike into the corner of the net, leaving Martinez beaten and bringing the Blues back into the match.
The game remained evenly balanced until the final whistle, with neither side finding a winner.
For Birkirkara, the draw brought their season to a close, while Mosta must now prepare for a decisive and highly charged derby against Naxxar Lions, with their Premier League future on the line.
