Wayne Rooney, an English football player, and Manchester United legend surprised everyone when he said who was his favorite partner in the “Red Devils” attack.
Rooney played during his career with Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Robin van Persie, Louis Saha, Dimitar Berbatov.
Yet Wayne mentioned each other.
“I loved playing with Carlos Tevez. I just liked our connection,” he commented for ”SPORTbible”.
“As a partner in attack, he was the one I enjoyed playing the most. I could rotate with Tevez, I would be nine, he would take ten, and then we swapped. “If we lost the ball, we were like two bulls trying to get it back,” the former United footballer added.
The two of them played together for two years and won as many as five trophies, two of which were championships and the Champions League.
