MILOSEVIC TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DEBACLE: I am the biggest culprit

Bosnia and Herzegovina coach Savo Milosevic took responsibility for yesterday’s heavy 5:0 defeat against Portugal in Zenica.

Faruk Hadzibegic and Meho Kodro could not start the “dragons” in the qualification for the European Championship, and new coach Savo Milosevic recorded a heavy defeat in Zenica.

The former coach of Partizan made his debut in the match against Portugal in front of the home fans in the qualifiers for the European Championship with a heavy defeat that could have been more convincing.

Already after the first 45 minutes, the score on the scoreboard was 5:0, and the currently best team in the qualification so far gave way with attacks, so the result remained unchanged.

“Probably, not probably, but surely, I am the biggest culprit for all this. Energetically, we could not match them, they are on the second level, but that has nothing to do with us. “We weren’t at our best, three days ago it looked good, but it’s obvious that we don’t have the energy for two games in three days,” said Milosevic.

The only chance to qualify for the European Championship for the “dragons” remains through the League of Nations tournament, where the winner will secure a trip to Germany.

“Now it is clear that we will have to find our way to the European Championship through the barrage. The matches against Luxembourg and Slovakia will serve as preparations. It will mean that we get together once more before the decisive matches,” said Milosevic .
