LIONEL MESSI INTENDS TO RETURN TO BARCELONA: The co-owner of Miami supported him in this

Lionel Messi is close to deciding to return to Barcelona.

Messi returned to the field and his club Inter Miami lost to Cincinnati 1:0, thus losing the chance to play in the MLS playoffs.

After the match with Charlotte on October 21st, Lionel Messi will not have MLS duties until the regular season, which starts at the end of February.
Because of this break, he could return to Barcelona on loan.

Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas recently stated: “Messi’s departure from Barcelona did not go as he wanted. He couldn’t say goodbye to the club that welcomed him as a boy, and I think the circumstances weren’t what he wanted. I promised him that I would do everything to give him the opportunity to say goodbye to the fans properly in the years to come.”

Even in earlier years, football stars returned from America to play in Europe for a few months, so David Beckham returned to Milan, and Thierry Henry to Arsenal.
