Santa Lucia FC who at the end of the 2023/24 season were relegated to the Challenge League are reported to be in talks with Liam Mangion to take the helm of their coaching staff for the 2024/25 season.
Mangion spent the second part of last season coaching at Senglea Athletic and managed to secure a Top Six spot finish. He had replaced Edgar Degabriele.
Santa Lucia are in search of a new coach after they agreed to part ways with Italian Alessandro Zinnari who immediately put pen to paper with Ħamrun Spartans after being released from his contractual obligations after an urgent meeting with Robert Micallef the Santa Lucia incumbent President.
Mangion is still evaluating other offers and is set to meet Santa Lucia officials again on Monday.
