Naxxar Lions secured their first three points of the 360 Sports Malta Premier by defeating their neighbors Mosta 2-1.
George Vella’s men found the back of the net in both halves, with Takuma Yamaguchi scoring in the 33rd minute to give Naxxar the lead at halftime.
Mosta was awarded a penalty in the 75th minute, which veteran Clayton Faila converted.
However, Naxxar sealed the victory in the 82nd minute when Neil Pace Cocks capitalized on a mistake by Mintoff and scored the winning goal for the Lions.
